About the Role

We are looking for a highly strategic and creative Communication & PR Manager to join our team and help us shape the way our brand connects with the world. In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in aligning our communication strategies, driving brand awareness, and ensuring consistency in our messaging. You’ll be responsible for managing the public image of the company and creating engaging content that aligns with our brand. The ideal candidate is self-driven, creative, and has an open mindset to proactively seek out new ways to enhance our communication strategy. A strong background in copywriting (with at least 4 years of experience) is essential, and a passion or knowledge of poker is a big plus. If you’re passionate about storytelling and can think strategically while being hands-on, this role is for you.

In this role you will:

  • Represent Customer Needs: Be the bridge between our customers and internal teams by advocating for their needs and incorporating their feedback into our communication strategies to improve products and services.

  • Monitor Market Trends: Keep a close eye on industry trends, competitive activity, and new developments, proactively integrating them into our communication strategies and identifying opportunities to innovate.

  • Campaign Optimization: Analyze and improve underperforming campaigns by adjusting key elements like headlines and messaging to achieve better results.

  • Content Development: Create and direct content across platforms to ensure a consistent, impactful message that aligns with business goals.

  • Social Media Management: Own and drive the company’s social media presence, ensuring our channels are aligned with the brand's goals and effectively engaging with our audience.

  • Brand Awareness: Lead initiatives to boost our company’s brand visibility.

  • Impact Measurement: Track and report on the impact of social media campaigns and communication efforts, using data to refine strategies and measure success.

  • Collaboration with Design: Work closely with the design team to ensure overall brand alignment, making sure that all visual and written elements are cohesive.

  • Set Communication Standards: Establish communication standards and processes, ensuring consistency in messaging and tone across the company.

  • Cross-Team Support: Collaborate with other teams (support, content, partnerships) to ensure proper communication practices are in place across all departments.

  • Content & Cross-Marketing: Work with leadership to identify cross-marketing opportunities and ensure message consistency across various departments and platforms.

  • Lead and Deliver: Oversee and prioritize your team’s workload while driving the successful execution of the communication team’s strategic initiatives.

What we’re looking for:

  • Creative thinker with knowledge of poker slang and the ability to create engaging content for various audiences.

  • Native English speaker with perfect writing skills.

  • Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and re-prioritize as needed.

  • Self-starter with a sense of urgency, who is self-motivated and detail-oriented.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships across teams.

  • Problem-solving mindset, proactively resolving issues before they escalate.

  • Presentation skills with the ability to lead group discussions and provide clear direction on communication strategies.

  • Passion or knowledge of poker.

What you bring to GTO Wizard:

  • 4+ years of copywriting experience with strong, versatile writing skills.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in advertising or marketing, with a proven track record in high-volume, fast-paced environments.

  • Demonstrated experience with all types of social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.).

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic communication plans.

  • Experience in management positions (nice to have, not required)

  • Based in Europe (CET or GMT timezone).
