GTO Wizard is growing fast — and we’re looking for a copywriter who can keep up.
You’ll help shape the voice of the most powerful tool in poker, driving real results through copy that converts, educates, and resonates with our audience.
The role is essential to our brand voice and customer experience — driving acquisition, engagement and retention through copy that resonates. As part of the marketing team, you will collaborate closely with the PR and product team to ensure all communications reflect the unique value of GTO Wizard and drive meaningful results.
You understand how to sell strategy to strategists. Whether it's a crusher chasing an edge or a new player just discovering poker, you know how to meet them where they are.
In this role, you will:
Create impactful messaging for customer acquisition:
Develop clear, persuasive copy for paid advertising, landing pages, email campaigns, social media and other performance marketing channels.
Craft conversion-focused copy that drives new paid subscribers and supports re-engagement of existing users.
Tailor messaging to different audience segments and funnel stages based on user data and behavioral insights.
Ensure strategic consistency across all customer touchpoints:
Translate GTO Wizard’s product features and brand tone into messages that connect with our target audience.
Collaborate with Brand and Comms teams to ensure alignment between design and messaging.
Regularly audit existing copy across channels and propose improvements aligned with best practices.
Contribute to performance optimization efforts:
Participate in A/B testing of ad copy, headlines and CTAs to drive higher conversion rates.
Use performance data and market trends to iterate and improve copy effectiveness.
Stay up to date with new market trends and technological platforms in the copywriting space.
Job requirements
We are seeking candidates who:
Have 4+ years of experience in a similar performance-driven copywriting role.
Have a strong copywriting portfolio of digital campaigns, especially in B2C or subscription-based products.
This role requires a solid understanding of poker. You don’t need to be a pro, but you should understand the language of ranges, ICM, and postflop play.
Are analytical and data-driven, with an ability to turn insights into powerful messaging.
Are excellent collaborators, open to feedback and motivated to constantly iterate and improve.
Are fluent in English with flawless grammar, tone control and audience adaptation.
