Job description

About us

GTO Wizard is the leading poker training tool, trusted by top players and industry brands worldwide. Recognized as the #1 educational resource in poker, we’re revolutionizing poker education and providing thousands of players with the tools to elevate their game. Our global team thrives on a culture of autonomy, responsibility, and excellence, empowering talented professionals to grow and succeed as part of a fast-growing company. If you're passionate about poker, eager to shape the future of the game, and ready to move up in stakes by joining a company that values passion, growth, and innovation, join us in redefining how poker is studied and played.

About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Product (UX) Designer to help us design the best poker learning experience on the market. This is not a role for someone focused solely on aesthetics or marketing visuals. We’re building a powerful, complex tool — and we’re looking for someone who can bring clarity and usability to advanced poker concepts, while understanding the long-term impact of their design decisions.

You’ll work at the intersection of user experience, data-driven validation, and deep product understanding, co-owning the interface and experience with our product and dev teams. A good understanding of poker (at least on a basic strategic level) and how solvers work is essential. If you’re ready to take true ownership of a product and shape its evolution with a team of passionate builders — this role is for you.

In this role you will:

  • Translate product complexity into intuitive, elegant interfaces by designing wireframes, flows, and high-fidelity mockups using our design system.

  • Collaborate closely with product, development, and marketing teams to maintain a cohesive and engaging product experience.

  • Validate design ideas through user research, prototyping, and usability testing — and follow through to implementation.

  • Actively participate in refining our design system and product consistency.

  • Work with data and the Analytics team to improve UX performance, drive conversion, and inform product iteration.

  • Contribute to product discovery and roadmap planning, proposing improvements based on user needs and product direction.

  • Take ownership of design within your area, acting as a long-term partner in the success of the product.

  • Stay informed on trends in both poker strategy and UX/UI to keep our product both relevant and cutting-edge.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has strong product thinking and an interest in long-term impact over quick wins.

  • Understands poker, and can grasp the basics of solver logic and hand analysis.

  • Is a digital product designer, not just a visual or brand designer — you’re fluent in systems thinking, UX flows, and usability.

  • Cares about validation — you test assumptions early and are data-informed, not just opinion-driven.

  • Is a strong communicator and collaborator who can both give and receive feedback with clarity and respect.

  • Is self-motivated and proactive — you look for ways to improve the product without waiting for instructions.

  • Is a team player with a strong sense of shared ownership and responsibility for product success.

  • Is located in EU

What you bring to GTO Wizard:

  • Proven experience in end-to-end product design (research, UX, UI, testing, implementation).

  • Advanced Figma skills and confidence in working with large, scalable design systems.

  • Excellent understanding of UI principles, typography, layout, and hierarchy.

  • Experience designing for both desktop and mobile applications.

  • Clear, professional English communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Curiosity, critical thinking, and a passion for well-crafted tools that empower users.

  • (Bonus) Experience in poker software or similar complex analytical tools.

Why you’ll love being part of the GTO Wizard team:

  • Real impact: Your work will shape how thousands of players learn and improve at poker.

  • Strong product culture: We care about user value, not vanity metrics.

  • Autonomy & ownership: You’ll have the freedom to do your best work and take responsibility for it.

  • Remote-first: Work from anywhere, collaborate globally.

  • Supportive environment: Join a sharp, passionate team that values excellence without ego.

  • Passion for the game: If you love poker, there’s no better place to turn that passion into product excellence.
